The former member of Swedish House Mafia is very active these days promoting his studio album Wild Youth that occupies first places in digital stores like iTunes while competing with other recent releases like Opus by Eric Prydz.
The Size Records creator shared with his fans a 13 minutes MiniMix with songs from his new album, featuring Rebel Nation, Children of the Wild and Last Dance. Wild Youth has been a real revolutionary work in the career of Angello and many are saying that it is an autobiographical production where the DJ conveys his own emotions with their fans.
In general, the new album has had a good response from the audience while Steve continues promoting his work during the fashion week in New York. Listen to the Wild Youth MiniMix below:
Another announcement that has not gone unnoticed is the publication of his new video called “Tiger”, which has raised some criticism for the explicit content. Other fans are trying to reveal its meaning, especially the initial swedish phrase that translate “the journey will be easier without the weight of the past …”. From our point of view it is a very good video with an excellent photographic direction that tells an interesting but confusing story.
The video takes place in a kind of enchanted forest where cult members are attacked by mysterious spectra; however the final takes place in a modern club and scenes can refer to human trafficking or similar subjects. Maybe future releases of the official videos from Wild Youth clarify this mistery.
